A Sincere Heart Always Does The Right Thing
A heart of sincerity knows how to do the right thing, even if no one is watching. It doesn’t need an audience or tributes for its good deeds. In the heart, sincerity is paramount. We need sincerity to live in harmony with our conscious choices.
Some say that sincerity is on the verge of extinction. Perhaps it is seen to a declining extent in our societies. Due to the straightforwardness and spotlessness of our characters, it is difficult to find nobility in the world of work. We are constantly worried about what we look like in the eyes of others, even if the most important thing is to feel complete with ourselves.
It is not just a “supplement” to universal justice. We can see that there is a necessary connection to ourselves as well. We need to be consistent with everything we feel and implement later. We urge you to consider the idea.
Sincerity is a requirement, but also a personal right
In Latin, the word integer (sincerity) means “whole”. Aristotle defined “holistic behavior” as quality. He thought it was an inner spirit that is directly related to our desire to do the right thing, even if no one is seeing it.
So far, we have shown that the definition includes a clear personal factor. Surely you have sometimes felt that your sincerity was threatened. In that case, you might drift into doing and saying things you don’t mean or feel. We can better understand the idea with these examples:
- Often, education and ties to our families attack our rights. They force us to do things we wouldn’t want, things we don’t believe in.
- The same thing happens in romantic relationships. For example, manipulation and mental blackmail tend to reach out to our integrity. They affect our whole as human beings until we finally react.
- Often, job dynamics are a great indication of a breach of employee integrity. Employees are so dependent on keeping their jobs that they simply cannot afford objections. It is common for employees to have to perform unpleasant, sometimes even prohibited, tasks. There is almost invariably exploitation in the workplace.
We all have a duty and a right to be whole and to act in good faith. Eventually, our self-esteem is built on our actions, feelings, and desires. We can get on our wings if third parties break our balance. However, we should not forget that the sincerity of our hearts always requires courage.
Learn to live with sincerity
We are often reminded to speak with honesty, to think sincerely, and to act with kindness. But who actually defines sincerity? The answer is simple: conscience.
