The Effect Of The Mind On Health

The effect of the mind on health

Our minds are responsible for managing all of our internal functions. In practice, this means guaranteeing the functioning of our organs and applies to even the most automatic and instinctive functions in our body.

If the mind once has the power to direct, control, coordinate, and make us act the way we do, then naturally it has a great deal to do with our physical health.

In fact, one could say that we have “two minds”: a “conscious mind,” which is rational and analytical, and a “subconscious mind,”.

It is because of this that, although we would like to feel good, it often seems that our will does not correspond to our inner state at all, and, contrary to what we ourselves intended, we begin to take effect badly. It really feels like we have no chance at all to control our own mind, our own thoughts, or our own body.

At the same time as our conscious mind wants everything to go well,  our subconscious mind activates the hustle and bustle of alarm signals, the feeling of fear, and a wide variety of reactions that make us feel like we are not in complete control of ourselves. We are overwhelmed by the feeling that we are failing in our ultimate goal of ensuring that everything in our lives eventually turns for the better.

All of our powerful emotional experiences remain in our subconscious mind,  activating memories,  emotions, states of mental disability, and distracting us in situations that remind us of our past traumatic experiences, even if we are not even aware of it at all.

As we go through an emotionally demanding and heavy experience, our subconscious mind recognizes all the situations that are in some way threatening. In this case, it turns on the alarm signals and causes us to be out of our minds and feel stressed, even if the situation on is not dangerous in any way.

We have the ability to bring both well-being and stress to us,  even if we don’t realize it is that way. Health  includes both physical and mental well-being. Well-being, in turn, depends on how effectively our minds handle all the situations we face in our lives.

The lightning of our minds

Mental programming

The mind programs itself on the basis of all the messages it collects from childhood onwards,  as well as everything we constantly tell ourselves throughout our lives.

Our well-being depends very much on how the mind programs itself,  because we have learned to react and feel a certain way in certain situations and  relationships.

Mental programming most often takes place in our subconscious mind, and it is this that causes the problems that arise in our bodies.

Mental reprogramming

To bring about change, it is necessary to “reprogram” the functioning of our minds. Namely, it is the mind that causes all attitudes, symptoms, development, thoughts, and a sense of well-being.

This is possible through psychotherapy, cognitive reconstruction techniques, and many other means. With these methods, we are able to locate in our subconscious mind the faulty programming that is to blame for all the stress we experience and, for example, the diseases we may be suffering from.

If the mind has the power to control the   functioning of our body, it can naturally also do it in the right way, which will help us maintain our health, if only we know how to put our minds on the right track.

So it is very important  to find the area where our subconscious mind creates emotional barriers and strives to release them so that you can allow healthy feelings and the right kind of attitudes and feelings to flow naturally.

The huge impact of the mind on health

For your own health, taking the reins into your own hands requires diving deep into the depths of the mind on an expedition. Because the subconscious mind is not very easily accessible, it is really important to take advantage of the connection that our conscious, logical, and analytical mind forms with it. At the same time, of course, all the sensations that come to the surface in this process must also be observed.

From the very beginning, we need to communicate as many positive and realistic messages as possible within ourselves,  leveraging our current abilities:

  • “I’m sure I can do it.”
  • “I know how to handle this.”
  • “From now on, I will come into force much healthier.”
  • “My body is able to reach a balanced state.”
The golden brain

And in a conscious, logical, rational, and quite deliberate way, all of these messages direct our minds to the path of good, or at least better health, allowing us to regain access to the sticks that guide our own minds. We will find and remember once again all the inner skills that we need to restore to a state of healthy balance within us.
